One of the smartest decisions we made during the planning of our wedding was hiring Alyse Woodward to help us make all other decisions!
Alyse is at the very top of the league in what she does. We have nothing but the highest praise for the work Alyse did from the very beginning of the process all the way until the final song of the evening. We live in northern Virginia and really had to rely on Alyse to help plan, coordinate, and implement our vision from afar and she exceeded all our expectations. Alyse would plan vendor meetings that fit into our schedule. She constantly communicated with us through email or phone calls. She made us feel like we were always a top priority.
We tasked Alyse with a unique situation as we wanted to have our wedding at a personal residence on Lake Norman. This house was not easily accessible and did not have the usual accoutrements of typical wedding venues. Not to mention, we lived 6 hours away from the site we were getting married! In addition to being organized, having a great vision, and being an excellent interface & coordinator with all the vendors, she also has a great personality and was a pleasure to work with.
Alyse’s attention to detail and ability to make our vision come to life was extraordinary. When set-up for the wedding began at the site, Alyse was there every second of the way directing vendors, moving heavy plants, making paper flowers... She transformed a log-cabin style lake house into something I wasn’t sure was possible. It was truly exquisite and our “rustic/modern” wedding came to life as guests started arriving. Our expectations were not only met, they were exceeded beyond our wildest imagination. We are still getting compliments on how lovely everything was.
Alyse Woodward is a true professional with a wonderful personality and we couldn’t have done it without her. She’s an asset to the wedding profession and all of Charlotte! We are actually sad that we don’t have a reason to meet with her once a month. As we told her after all was said and done, we'd get married all over again just to have her plan our wedding!

Alyse came highly recommended to my parents by one of our other vendors. We were looking for someone who could help us pull the day together and handle all the last minute details. Alyse was able to do all that and more! The day was stress free because she was there handling all the details and making sure everything was taken care of. I cannot thank you enough for your help! At the beginning of my engagement, I wasn’t sure I needed a wedding planner, but I am so grateful that you were there! You allowed us to relax on our wedding day. I think it was about two hours before the ceremony when it started raining outside, and it just got heavier and heavier. Even though the reception space was covered, with the wind blowing, I knew it wasn’t dry any longer. But I never worried because I knew you were there. When we arrived at the reception and everything looked amazing – Kyle can tell you I was squealing in the car as we arrived – I knew you had worked so hard! After we got back from our honeymoon, and learned everything had to be set-up three times because of the wind and rain, it didn’t surprise me at all. My mom told me how you helped clean up and stayed until the end – you never stopped working! Having full confidence in you was priceless! I look back at my wedding day and remember what a wonderful day it was - thanks to you!
